Royal Air Maroc and JetBlue Airways Enter into an Interline Agreement

JetBlue Airways and Royal Air Maroc, today announced the launch of an interline agreement to connect each other's networks and bring new flight options to travelers between Africa and the Americas.

Through the arrangement, effective immediately, travelers can book single-ticket travel combining flights on both carriers and enjoy one-stop baggage check-in when they transfer between the airlines at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK). Tickets are available for sale through travel agencies and Royal Air Maroc's reservations call center.

JetBlue is the largest domestic airline at JFK, where Royal Air Maroc offers daily nonstop service to its hub at Casablanca's Mohammed V International Airport, Africa's fourth busiest airport. Travelers can connect onward to cities across the Maghreb and West Africa. The partnership opens up a number of new destinations previously unavailable through JetBlue or its other partners including the Central African Republic, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, Liberia, Mali, Niger, Sierra Leone, and Togo

Scott Resnick, JetBlue's director of airline partnerships, said,"We are pleased to expand our partnership portfolio by joining with Royal Air Maroc to offer our fliers a new option to Africa.

"With Royal Air Maroc, JetBlue customers now have access to even more destinations across North and West Africa from an airline that shares a similar philosophy of putting customers first."
