GDC Technics announces the creation of GDC Technics Africa based in Morocco

GDC Technics is hereby pleased to announce the creation of GDC Technics, Africa, which will be based in Morocco. GDC Africa will provide modification and MRO services to aircraft owners and operators based primarily in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. To achieve this pivotal growth of GDC in Morocco, the Company has appointed Shabbir Pirmohamed as CEO of GDC Technics, Africa. Having spearheaded the turnaround at GDC Technics, USA, Shabbir is well placed to lead the set up and operation of the facility in Morocco, and to make it a center of excellence within the region.
The Company is also pleased to announce the appointment of Kevin Casey as CEO, GDC Technics USA. Mr. Casey has a tremendous background globally in aircraft modification and MRO which he will draw upon in leading the expansion of GDC’s US operations into its state of the art 80,000 m2 (850,000 ft2) Alliance Fort Worth facility, as well as the development of technology based solutions through the seamless collaboration of GDC-Technics, GDC-Engineering (Munich) and their network of industry partners.
