Marrakech Airshow 2014: 51 participating countries, 26 African delegations and 70 aircrafts on static display

With just one month to go until the opening of Marrakech Airshow which will take place in Marrakesh from 23 to 26 April 2014, the organiser of the show (IEC) announced the participation of leading aircraft Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) alongside a significant number of Business Aviation services and Defence Industrials.

The exhibition has received confirmed chalets and static display commitments from: BEECHCRAFT, BOMBARDIER, CESSNA, EMBRAER COMMERCIAL AVIATION, EMBRAER EXECUTIVE JETS, DASSAULT, GULFSTREAM, BELL HELICOPTER, PZL EADS, AIRBUS DEFENCE, ATR, ALENIA AERRMACCHI, AGUSTA WESTLAND.... 
 
This edition is hosting for the first time, the business aviation expo in partnership with AfBAA (African Business Aviation Association), this dedicated pavilion will be gathering business aircraft companies, services companies, suppliers of this industry....
 
Marrakech Air show has become one among the largest air shows in the world (measured by number of orders taken, quantity of business visitors and exhibitors) and it has the possibilities to grow even further in future.
 
The show is located at Marrakech’s FRA Airport and will cover 110,000 square meters with a layout that will enable the OEMs to arrange dedicated demonstration flights directly from the static display owing to ease of access to the runway for take-off and landing.
 
In three editions only, Marrakesh Airshow has confirmed its position as the meeting place of the civil and military aerospace industry in the African continent, creating opportunities for the aerospace industry operators to network, do business, find out about the latest innovations and exchange ideas to spearhead developments across the industry.
 
During the past editions, the entire international aerospace community, mainly from: China, Russia, Europe, Americas, have shown an increasing interest for the African market to build and develop their business relationships.
